Prints were created on the theme of Drop Culture, beginning with a discussion and investigation of our personal styles, brand(s) of choice, shoe type/shape origins, origin of the sneaker itself and its place in culture.
I directed students to check out I directed students to check out https://hypebeast.com/ and https://hypebae.com/ style/streetwear sites as a resource for investigation. We also printed these designs on tote bags and donated them to volunteers at the Sneaker Ball Fundraising Event for the People Organized to Revitalize Community Healing (PORCH) organization, led by Executive Director Tameka Randle.
