Flynn Tucker, Linocut on Paper, 11″x15″, AR302 Relief & Mixed Media Printmaking, Fall 2023

Prints were created on the theme of Drop Culture, beginning with a discussion and investigation of our personal styles, brand(s) of choice, shoe type/shape origins, origin of the sneaker itself and its place in culture.

I directed students to check out the blogs and style/streetwear sites as a resource for investigation. We also printed these designs on tote bags and donated them to volunteers at the Sneaker Ball Fundraising Event for the People Organized to Revitalize Community Healing (PORCH) organization, led by Executive Director Tameka Randle.
