Printmaking & Professorship Workshop for HERE Literary Magazine

I was invited by Mia Pohlman, writer and editor, founder of Here, a literary magazine “Where Southeast Missouri high school students publish poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and artwork.”

February: Printmaking + Being a Professor

What is the history of the art of printmaking, and how is it used in the present? In this workshop, students will learn about the printmaking process and get to try their own hand at it. They will also learn how and why artists pursue MFAs and different career paths that are available within academia.

Workshop leader: Hannah March Sanders, professor of Art & Design at Southeast Missouri State University and Catapult Press Coordinator

Saturday, February 17

Workshop will be assisted by Art + Design department student Emma Reinsmith. Some illustrations printed were repurposed from previous workshops and holiday sale printing at Catapult Press, Catapult Creative House.
