I was honored to be invited by Professor Joe Lupo of West Virginia University to be the first interview published on his new site/series Not Approved by the Comics Code Authority, which goes live January 2024.
According to Lupo, “This interview series is directly inspired by Laura Berman’s Reflections on Color and Printmaking. Utilizing a short interview style that focuses on a specific aspect of one’s artistic practice. This interview series is intended to be a similar style of short conversational answers to a set of questions but focusing on comics and how artists use the style and format in their work. While some interviews may feature comics creators, this interview series will also feature artists whose work is directly or indirectly influences by comics.”
