Starting around 2019, I began giving themes to all of my hand-bound sketchbook/artist books. The theme for this tome, Everything but Earth, comes from a conversation with comic artist, printmaker, and publisher (Paper City Publishing) Andrew Kozlowski. We talked about my experiences with hurricanes, burns, floods, etc. and he remarked that I’ve been hit with nearly “everything but earth.” I replied that I currently live on an active fault line (New Madrid Fault Line), so I’m sure that’s coming for me next. Aren’t I a pleasant one?
