The Arrow Article: SEMO Art Faculty, Students Collaborate on Shipyard Project by Cynthia Wallman, September 2021

Myself and Blake Sanders were interviewed by Cynthia Wallman, student in the Department of Mass Media and reporter for the Southeast Missouri State University student newspaper The Arrow in September 2021. We were coordinating work with Art + Design department students for Shipyard Music Festival, put on by Rustmedia. For several years, we volunteered as illustrators, involving our students in the project, as well, to create a coloring and activity book for the festival as a giveaway.

Hannah March Sanders received her BFA at Tulane University and an MFA in printmaking from Louisiana State University. Along with her husband, Blake, Hannah operates http://orangebarrelindustries.com/, an artist collaborative that organizes portfolio exchanges, exhibitions and other art events. She is currently the Coordinator of the BA in Art as well as Area Head of Printmaking, and a Professor of Art in the Department of Art + Design at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO.
